The function of an insulator pin is to hold the insulator mounted on it in a vertical position. Steel pins are used whenever the pins must be extra long, because of high voltage, and whenever the tension on the conductor is great. Steel pins have a broad base which rests squarely on the crossarm.
Hebei Sali Crossarm spindle is shipped with hardware assembled, and include pin insulator spindle, line post insulator stud, pin post insulator stud, and suspension insulator spindle.
Crossarm spindle can mount of protective devices and cable terminators. Brackets are available for single unit mount or various cutout/arrester combinations.
The material is hot dip galvanized according to ASTM A153.
